Just about an hour from Manteo, this family-fun stop sits within Timbuck II Shopping Village and enjoy a large, inviting track offering guests access to junior go-karts and single and double karts alike. Bumper cars are also available to be enjoyed on-site while a full arcade keeps kids engaged for hours! The raceway is open daily between May and September.

 

Check Out Frisco Mini-Golf and Go-Karts

Take Highway 12 South 59 miles from Manteo to Frisco and you’ll find easy access to go-karting fun at Frisco Mini-Golf and Go-Karts. Situated at 50212 Trent Lake Lane this stop is designed to be fun for guests of all ages. Just 6 miles south of the iconic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Frisco Mini-Golf and Go-Karts hosts two go-kart tracks for guests to enjoy including a family track and a fast track for an even more adrenaline-pumping adventure. There’s a 58-inch height requirement to drive, but smaller children are allowed to ride with an adult. After go-karting, make sure to check out the bumper cars as well as the game room and concessions area. The mini-golf course offers 18 holes of entertainment where visitors can put their short-game skills to the test.

Nags Head Raceway

No more than 9 miles from Manteo, visitors heading to the Outer Banks and looking for go-kart fun will find it waiting for them at the Nags Head Raceway. Situated at 7000 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head Raceway takes go-karting to another level with access to two-seater cars and racers available alike. It also functions as a top-rated Indy track which those with a need for speed will find exceptionally appealing. On-site, visitors can also check out the arcade, bumper car arena, and ice cream stand when cravings come calling. Nags Head Raceway hosts a sister facility known as Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf and Full Throttle Speedway North just half a mile when guests are looking to continue the fun.
